We’ll start with the basics of energy healing in Reiki I
The Reiki I course is for beginners in healing. The Reiki I class connects you to
the Reiki energy on a level that can be used in any situation to promote healing and wellness. It can be used on yourself, family/friends, animals, and plants.
In this one-day class, you will learn: intuitive hand positions, how to give a treatment to yourself or someone else, overview of the chakras, and some shielding techniques. You will also learn energy scanning to detect where Reiki is needed (byosen
scanning), a simple technique for developing intuition (reiji-ho), and how to clear
your energy field (kenyoku).
Class consists of attunements/placements, instruction, discussion and practice time, and includes a manual and certificate. This class is taught in person but can be scheduled as an online class upon request.
There is no prerequisite for this class as this level of Reiki is suitable for all
individuals.
You will learn to send energy at a distance in Reiki II and use symbols
The Reiki II course attunes the student to a higher, more focused vibration of the
Reiki energy. In this one-day class, you will learn three Reiki symbols as well as
techniques for healing at a distance, mental/emotional healing, clearing bad habits, and sending Reiki to the past/future.
Class consists of attunements/placements,
instruction, discussion and practice time, and includes a manual and certificate. This class is taught in person but can be scheduled as an online class upon request.
Prerequisite is Reiki I. Students who received their Reiki I training from another
Reiki Master must email their certificate as proof of completion prior to enrolling in this class.

NOTE
I do not teach Reiki I and II together in one weekend class. I believe it is important you adjust to the Reiki I energy first before being introduced to the second level. I employ a 1-month waiting period between Reiki I and Reiki II to allow you to fully assimilate to the Reiki energy at each level.
